After the Fed translates each FOMC decision into the bills a household actually pays: the mortgage, the card, the savings account. We publish a small number of pages, with sources, and four calculators. We do not sell loans, insurance, or trading signals.
This site is not the Federal Reserve, Freddie Mac, a bank, or a registered investment adviser. Nothing here is a recommendation to borrow, refinance, invest, hold cash, or wait.
How pages get made
Rate figures are copied from primary public documents — FOMC statements, Fed implementation notes, Freddie Mac’s weekly mortgage survey — and dated. Drafts may be prepared with writing tools. Every page is checked against those sources before it goes up. If a number is an illustration, it is labeled as one.
What we will not do
- Mass-publish a page for every city, ZIP code, or query variation.
- Pretend a calculator is a lender quote.
- Link this site to adult properties, or the reverse.
- Hide how a number was built. See How we work.
